The Champions. RSCA Futsal will be hosting the main round of the UEFA Futsal Champions League between Tuesday 22 and Saturday 26 October. Six top futsal game will be played at the Alfasun Indoor Arena.
Just like two seasons ago, RSCA Futsal will be the host of the main round of the Champions League. Sporting's will face three top European clubs: Cartegena (ESP), Hit Kyiv (UKR), and Bielsko-Biala (POL). You can buy day tickets or a mini-abo for these six European games on ticketing.rsca.be.
A day ticket allows you to watch two games: the RSCA Futsal game and the one between the two remaining teams in the group. With a mini-abo, you can attend all six matches played during the main round.
The games promise to be thrilling, with four teams ranked in the top 20 of the UEFA coefficient that are featured. Notably, Cartagena is one of the teams on the rise. Last season, the club was crowned champion of Spain after finishing ahead of Barça.
Sporting has been one of the best futsal clubs in Europe for years. For the 2024/25 season, RSCA is ranked sixth in the UEFA coefficient. Just over a year ago, the Mauves narrowly missed out on winning the Champions League after losing to Sporting CP in the Final Four.
RSCA Futsal plays its home games at the Alfasun Indoor Arena, located a 20-minute drive from Lotto Park. The venue is a modern futsal arena that can host up to 1,200 fans. We are the only club in Belgium to play our home matches on a court exclusively dedicated to futsal.
The competition consists of three successive qualifying rounds - the preliminary round, the main round and the elite round - and the final four. The three qualifying rounds are played in the form of mini-tournaments, where four teams meet and play each other over four days.
RSCA Futsal is currently in the main round of the Futsal Champions League. The first three clubs in the main round win the right to move on to the next round, the elite round. But only the first two get an advantageous draw. It is therefore crucial to do well in the main round.
Three of the four teams in our main round's path will therefore move on to the elite round. This is also a mini-tournament, consisting of 4 teams. If we qualify, we will play in the elite round in late November. The goal will be to qualify for the final four, that's played in April or May. The final four is the final round of the tournament. It is in this round that the two best teams finally play each other in the final of the Futsal Champions League.
All six games of the main round in Roosdaal will be broadcasted live on Sporting's streaming platform, Mauve TV.
Come on you Mauves.
